WorkWell can be notified of injuries by phone, fax, employer web portal or email. Once the information has been entered into our system, our trained intake personnel coordinate the initial appointment for injured workers. They make sure all special instructions, including preferred providers, in our custom developed database are followed.
Intake coordinators verify all information to make sure it is correct, including patient demographics, employer name and location, insurer, date of injury, injury type and mechanism of injury. Once this critical information has been verified and the appointment has been scheduled the case is transfer to WorkWell’s case management department.
