WorkWell was founded in 1981 by William R. Yanakos. WorkWell has developed contractual relationships with occupational medicine physicians and providers at eight locations in Pennsylvania. Throughout the 1990's WorkWell experienced a growth rate of 20% annually and managed to double in size throughout that decade.

Twenty-three years of unwavering commitment to provide excellent service to Pennsylvania employers has allowed us to grow into our current location and corporate headquarters for the past eight years in Carnegie, Pennsylvania.

The WorkWell team includes a qualified staff of over 60 members that offer support and expertise in managing over 13,000 acute injuries annually. WorkWell is currently the largest provider of occupational injury management services in Pennsylvania. Our statewide provider network includes contractual relationships with Physicians, Specialists, Diagnostic Facilities and Physical Therapy Centers who provide treatment to injured workers.
